Tessemae’s Salad Dressings: As Good As Homemade – Gluten Free, Paleo, Whole 30

One thing that I hate when I go food shopping is it’s so hard to find salad dressing that is healthy for you.  Most salad dressings have lists and lists of ingredients, some you can’t even pronounce!  Up until yesterday I had never found a good, healthy, pure salad dressing and then I discovered Tessemae’s.

My husband is working till midnight most nights this week so I will be alone for dinner.  We were trying to come up with easy things for me to have for dinner this week, and we decided salads would be good.  They are healthy, easy to throw together, and filling.  We’ve been wanting to make our own salad dressing for awhile, and experiment with some recipes, but we wanted to do that together.  So, we decided that for this week I would just pick up salad dressing from the store, and we can experiment together another week when he’s home for dinners.

So, I went to the grocery store yesterday morning, and while I did my food shopping for the week, in the produce section I came across Tessemae’s.  I had never heard of Tessemae’s or seen it before, but immediately I was drawn to it.

The first thing that caught my eye was that it said organic.  When I picked up a bottle of the Organic Creamy Ranch Dressing from the shelf to start reading the label, the next thing I read made me excited.  It said, “The Good Stuff” with an arrow pointing down letting me know this product was dairy-free, gluten-free, contained cage-free eggs, sugar-free, was Non-GMO Project Certified, and Whole 30 Approved!  It looked really good.  But, the most telling sign would be the ingredients.  That would make or break the product for me, and boy was I happy.  Check out these ingredients:

WOW!  There was NOTHING in this dressing that I wouldn’t have put into a homemade salad dressing myself!!!  I couldn’t believe it!  I actually found a pure, all-natural, organic salad dressing with REAL ingredients!  I picked up two bottles.  One of the Organic Creamy Ranch and the other was Organic Creamy Caesar.  I couldn’t wait to try them!

Again, real true ingredients!  Yesterday I tried the Organic Creamy Caesar and it tasted AMAZING!!!  It tasted so fresh and so good!  Today I tried the Organic Creamy Ranch and it was just as amazing too!  They tasted just as good as homemade!  I love that I have finally found a salad dressing that meets and exceeds my standards, and I LOVE that if I don’t have the time to make my own homemade dressing, I can easily pick up Tessemae’s.

I love Tessemae’s story as well.

“As the mother of three athletic boys, Tesse had to figure out a way to get them to eat their veggies while staying healthy. Because serving a dressing full of artificial ingredients was not an option, she created and perfected her own all-natural recipe. When her oldest son, Greg, realized how great it was, he said, “Mom, let’s go into business together and make this for the world!” As Tessemae’s All Natural grows its product line around the globe, the commitment to healthy eating and healthy living remains the core of the company’s mission.”

They offer tons of different salad dressing and I can’t wait to try their other flavors.  Besides salad dressings they offer ketchups, BBQ sauce, marinades, mayo, etc…  All made from whole foods.  All healthy.  Nothing fake!  I am absolutely LOVING this company!
